Delightful pair of Scottish ‘C Buick & Sons’ fireclay garden urns on pedestals. Marked C Buick & Sons Hilton Alloa, near Stirling Scotland by the Hilton Fire Clay Works. This striking pair of garden urn planters can be aged to around the late 1800’s as in 1873, Charles Buick and his surviving sons John and Charles, established the Hilton Fireclay Works, also known as the Carsebridge Brickworks, in Alloa.
