A substantial floor standing 19th Century Biot ‘Jarre’ originating from the town of Biot in Provence, France. Its earlier use was to store and transport oils, grains and liquids and was primarily a functional vessel. Today, they are a delightful addition to the home or garden. This antique French pot has the iconic slim neck to a bulbous body with a yellow glaze trim and the odd, delightful dribble down the body.
