Antique Anduze Vase
£2,300.00
Really beautiful antique Anduze vase from South of France with excellent patina of mellow yellow, brown and green glaze. We are such a fan of these antique pots from France and firmly believe that age becomes them! The classic Anduze vase is a celebrated 17th-century French terracotta planter from the town of Anduze in the Gard region. Recognizable by its inverted bell shape, these handcrafted, glazed urns are adorned with signature garlands and medallions. They were originally created to hold citrus trees at Versailles and are distinguished by their traditional green, yellow, or brown flamed glazes.
