Antique French Grape Hod Carrier

Vintage/Antique French Grape pickers Hod c.1920. During the 1900’s the farm workers used to carry this on their backs to collect grapes in the vineyards. Beautiful shape, detail and patina to this iron strapped grape hod. This would make an ideal log baskets or garden planter.

This very special grape carries has the original leather straps for the pickers to attach, a true collectors piece and something unusual and decorative for the house or garden.
