Antique Syrian Terracotta Amphora Pot
£460.00
A hand thrown antique Syrian pot with a deep terracotta brown colouring. Amphora pots were traditionally made to have an elongated body, with a rather wide opening, and two handles for carrying and were used as the go-to vessel to store and transport liquids such as wine, oil, and fish sauce. This rather special storage jar has a beautiful rotund shape, and its wonky handles make it quite unique.
