Original 19th century Arras Bench
An exceptionally beautiful example of a rare, curved 3 seater Arras bench. The distinctive Arras look is uniquely made of half-round hollow wrought iron that characterises Arras pieces, who were manufacturers of garden furniture ahead of their time in the late 19th and early 20th century. With its carefully and uniquely crafted iron, Arras style garden seating had major benefits. Those being, firstly water runs off easily and secondly, the comfort is that much greater. This Arras garden bench has the renowned and iconic hoof feet that were introduced by Grassin Baledans from 1900. This provided an alternative to the earlier, original lions claw feet.
