Set of four Alfred Corneau Urns


A set of four mid-19th Century Alfred Corneau cast iron planters from France. Can be used inside or outside.  Alfred Corneau à Charleville urns can be easily characterised by their convex bulbous shape and their brown-grey faux marble finish.
Alfred Corneau’s foundry was in Charleville, (close to the Belgian border)and was a well know maker of garden urns and cast iron objects in the later part of the 19th century. Employing 300 people and specialized in “household and ornamental cast iron and heating appliances”
There is a stamp to one urn. These urns are available in a pair of as a set of four. The price above reflects the cost for the set of four.
