Fine Georgian Lead Cistern

This is a beautifully proportioned antique lead cistern or planter of rectangular form.  Fine decoration to the front with lion and foliate designs and the date 1810. The classical style antique lead cistern has two drainage holes and is suitable for indoor and outside use.

Nicely-weathered silver colouring to the cistern with wear and misshaping commensurate with age.
