Italian Antique Yeast Pots with lids
Wonderful set of 3 hand crafted 19th Century Italian yeast pots from Puglia, Southern Italy. These were used to store fresh yeast (conjures up the smell of fresh bread!) and are an absolute gem to have as decorative pieces around the home. Cream base with vibrant splashes, each pot totally unique in style having been hand painted.
Wear is consistent with age and use with minor chips, cracks and losses that are expected.
Can be sold individually at £425 each or as a trio for £1100.
