Set of four antique Arras chairs featuring the iconic horse’s hoof feet. While the original finish had become heavily weathered with rust, each piece has been expertly hand-painted to preserve its character while enhancing its aged appearance. These are authentic French Arras wrought iron chairs, dating to circa 1910.

There is a single chair that has a different makers mark to them, three are from ‘Arras Usine St Sauveur’ but the fourth has the stamp ‘societe anonyme Saint Sauveur Arras , which is a rarer maker. There are some subtle differences, most notably being the height of the back is 74cms with the others 80cms. Other measurements are identical. Seat height is 40cms.
