Original Victorian Dolly Tubs

A selection of original Victorian Dolly tubs available for your garden, as garden planters and statement garden display pieces. Excellent condition with no visible holes. No one tub is identical, one has a soap dish attachment, and one other has no ribbing but a pair of handles. Originally dolly tubs were used for washing clothes and were wooden. However, the wooden tubs were replaced in the 19th century with the galvanized steel dolly tubs as they were easier and lighter to manoeuvre. Great depth to these tubs allows for plants or trees requiring a deep root area.
