Pair of antique James Pulham Garden Urns
A rare pair of mid 19th century original terracotta urns by James Pulham of Broxbourne, Hertfordshire. James Pulham, widely recognised as a master in his field, created and produced classic terracotta garden ornaments in the 1800’s – they achieved two Royal Warrants. I particularly love James Pulham of Broxbourne, Hertfordshire urns as the colouring to the terracotta is both beautiful and unusual.
This pair of antique garden urns are in in excellent condition for their age and are beautifully weathered. Not stamped but feature in the Pulham catalogue as model number 7 ‘Temple Gardens Tazza’ in Section 1, English circa 1860
These pairs of garden urns have distinctive large circular acanthus handles each side down to the large bulbous gadrooned body. The base measures 27.5cm.
We have matched these antique garden urns with a pair of Doulton Lambeth plinths to make a delightful garden statement pair of decorative urns.
