19th Century Coalbrookdale Marble topped Table

Original antique Coalbrookdale Orangery table circa 1865. This is a real gem and a rare find. A beautiful and elegantly made small table, this is an original Coalbrookdale piece found in the catalogue numbered No.39. However, the original had a cast iron perforated top but this example has a delightful specimen marble top to it, in many ways creating a much more striking table.

Today, there is a Coalbrookdale Museum of Iron. The company produced such work as the gates of London’s Hyde Park and as far afield as The Peacock Fountain in New Zealand.
