19^th Century painted wooden domestic wheelbarrow with decorative turned handles and original black and cream painted finish. Removable back panel. Lack of substantial wear and tear suggests it was used for indoors

Provenance: Reputedly from Sandon Hall Staffs home of the Earls of Harrowby, purchased following Sotheby’s house sale of October 6^th 1992. Based on the context of Sandon Hall in Staffordshire—the seat of the Earl of Harrowby—EDH likely stands for Edward Dudley Harrowby, representing the 7th or 8th Earl of Harrowby.
