A Pair of Blue Glazed Anduze French Vase

This is a stunning pair of French terracotta Anduze vases that have aged so beautifully with time. The iconic design of the Anduze vase features a sturdy, inverted bell-shaped body set on a circular base. Typically, around two-thirds up from the base, there is a scalloped garland, varying in intricacy, that links the stamped macarons, which serve as the manufacturer’s signature.
There are a couple of patches where a previous owner has painted over some areas of the terracotta as shown in the photographs. However, this does not detract from the beauty of Le Chene Vert Anduze.
